› ..And the story continues....
I am using GNU/Linux and other OS since the year 2000. In late 2000,
I came across some writings and articles by Mr. Richard M. Stallman
at www.fsf.org. RMS and his philosophy have inspired me in
such a big way that, after studying RMS's philosophy and his FREE
Software movement for past few years, in September 2003 I co-founded
the LINUXjunkies Foundation
- " The GNU Fanatics' Group" - a non profit, volunteer driven
organization, to promote GNU/LINUX and other FREE software, in Howrah
and as well as in West Bengal.
Today, I own Conversys Technologies Private Limited,
a consulting firm focusing on the development and implementation of
Free & Open Source strategies for medium and large-sized
businesses.
I also give speeches in various seminars on different aspects of GNU/Linux and Free software under LINUXjunkies Foundation banner.
Besides
this I also own and administer many portals on various subjects.
I also own a good collection of domains and a known face in
domain industry.
